Why Our Pub is Great

If you’re looking for a friendly, traditional pub with a homely feel and a team waiting to welcome you with a drink, then the Woodman is for you. We’ve got something for everyone here so whether you are coming with your mates or for a family meal, everyone will be leaving happy and satisfied. Alongside the pub classics, our menu includes delicious dishes like our foot long hot dogs and triangle toasties. If you’re brave and fancy a challenge you can try our ‘Big Eat Challenges’ featuring our new 32oz Rump Steak, Giant Hub Cap burgers and scorching Cut Throat Curry.

If you need something to wash that grub down with then don’t worry we’ve got you covered. You can choose from draught lagers, craft beers, wines, ciders, spirits, fizz and even treat yourself to a classy cocktail. In the summer months, you can take your drinks outside to enjoy them in our beautiful beer garden, overlooking our bowling green. If you’ve got more of a sweet tooth then you’ll love our Tuck Shop. Full to the brim of your favourite sweets, from retro classics to chocolatey treats, it’s especially good for keeping the little ones quiet.
